
American Marketing- About my role
American Marketing Association hired me on for a short term contract role to help design and code their email newsletters. This role was centered on production and maintaining their image library.
They had also just gone through a rebranding and needed updated materials for many assets. They had several different emails, some going out weekly or monthly that needed updating on a weekly basis.
Marketing News Email
Marketing News Weekly was an email that went out once a week to all of AMA's Chicago's members. It contained marketing news that was related to that week. The copy writers would send me the information about the story and I would add it to the template in Dreamweaver. Once the information was checked for any errors it was passed on to the development team.
This was a vast improvment from when I first arrived, their intial email template was full of layout and rendering issues. Once my contract was up I left the templates in a better condition so future employees would have no problem working on it, even those that didn't know anything about code.
