Deltas- About my role
Delta’s was a freelance opportunity that came to me through friends. Their existing website was built by the owner in the early 2000's and the style and functionality really reflected that older style. They were in major need of site revamp.
We decided to use Wordpress for this build as he wanted the food menus live text that could be easily edited by him. We decided to make the website simple and functional so that customers could get the information they were looking for fast.
Homepage
We settled on a Wordpress theme that reflected the type of website we were creating. I provided some stock photos as well as images that the owner had provided. A big bold font and a delicious looking meal is all the viewer needs to become interested.
The menu buttons were showcased on the homepage so that the customer could find them quickly. The dark and delicious background makes the food stand out more and a simple design allows the user to gain quick access to information.
