Finishline- About my role
As a Designer at Finishline I spent the majority of my time in Photoshop creating content from scratch. We often had very little creative assets to work with and would have to dream up what could be possible. We were given a substantial amount of free reign to openly create.
I became really good at constructing interesting layouts that would often look like they were really shot with a camera. I worked on many different types of deliverables from videos to homepage to instagram posts. As designers we were able to touch on a little bit of everything.
Retro Running Email
Retro sneakers are a big part of creative at Finishline. We were always trying to think of new and exciting ways to make the content stand out and bring that retro feel into todays world. Adding in motion and creating this retro video effect in After Effects was one of the most efficient ways of doing that.
This email was part of a series of retro emails that i created. They all had the same type of look and feel but, would ultimately feature different products. As exploration, I created many different types of retro styles before landing on this particular motion design to move forward with.
